最优理论
最优理论（OT）是一种基于约束的音系和句法建模框架，由Alan Prince和Paul Smolensky于1993年开发。其核心思想是，语言产生能够最佳满足普遍约束的等级层次的最优输出。OT不列举规则，而是将语言现象解释为相互冲突的压力下的解决方案——声音和结构作为相互竞争的需求之间最不坏的妥协而出现。该框架彻底改变了音系理论，并广泛应用于语流音系学、音段和超音段分析以及跨语言变异。
