冠层覆盖度估算

冠层覆盖度,或称冠层闭合度,是指从上方观察时,树冠覆盖地面的比例,通常以百分比表示。冠层覆盖度估算由Jennings及其同事在热带森林结构开创性工作中正式提出,采用多种方法——从基于实地的目视评估到复杂的遥感和地面激光雷达技术——为生态学、森林经营学和气候研究提供关于森林结构、光照可用性和栖息地特征的基本数据。
