Functional Behavioral Assessment
Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) is a systematic process for identifying the environmental and behavioral factors that maintain or contribute to a target behavior. Developed by Richard O'Neill, Robert Horner, and colleagues in the 1990s, FBA is a cornerstone of applied behavior analysis and is widely used in educational, clinical, and organizational settings to guide evidence-based behavior intervention planning.
