摘要Short form generalizability theory applies the G-theory variance-component framework to abbreviated measurement instruments, using G-studies and D-studies to estimate how many items a short scale must retain to achieve a desired reliability and to evaluate the accuracy of decisions made with a condensed instrument.Generalizability Theory is a psychometric framework that decomposes observed score variance into multiple sources — persons, items, raters, occasions, and their interactions — using analysis of variance. It replaces the single reliability coefficient of classical test theory with a family of coefficients that tell researchers how well scores generalize across different measurement conditions.
