Developed by Raes, Neff, and colleagues in 2011 and published in Mindfulness, the SCS-SF is a brief version of the original 26-item Self-Compassion Scale. The scale measures self-compassion through six dimensions: Self-Kindness, Self-Judgment, Common Humanity, Isolation, Mindfulness, and Over-Identification.
