骨形态发生蛋白(BMP)释放测定用于测量生物材料载体随时间释放BMP的动力学和量。BMP-2、BMP-6、BMP-7和BMP-9是Marshall Urist于1965年发现的强效骨诱导生长因子,可触发骨和软骨的形成。当BMP加载到支架、水凝胶或植入物中时,必须以受控方式释放,以最大化生物效应并最小化全身暴露。释放测定在设定的时间点量化周围介质中BMP的含量,从而能够针对骨再生和骨折愈合应用优化载体材料和释放曲线。
