Tóm tắtParticipatory Qualitative Content Analysis (PQCA) integrates the systematic text-analytic procedures of qualitative content analysis with the collaborative, power-sharing ethos of participatory research. Community members or stakeholders join the research team as co-analysts — helping to define the coding frame, interpret categories, and validate findings — rather than serving merely as data sources. The result is analysis that is both methodologically rigorous and grounded in the perspectives of those most affected by the research topic.Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a qualitative, community-centred methodology in which researchers and community members collaborate as co-investigators to identify a shared problem, take deliberate action, observe outcomes, and reflect critically on results — cycling iteratively until meaningful change is achieved. Unlike conventional research that studies people from the outside, PAR treats participants as active agents who co-own the research process, the knowledge produced, and the practical interventions that follow.
