ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสมผสานเชิงปฏิรูปที่เน้นการมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory transformative mixed methods) คือการออกแบบการวิจัยที่ผนวกกรอบการทำงานเชิงปฏิบัติการที่เน้นการมีส่วนร่วม (participatory action framework) และกระบวนทัศน์เชิงปฏิรูป (transformative paradigm) เข้าไว้ในการสืบค้นข้อมูลแบบผสมผสาน (mixed methods inquiry) ข้อมูลทั้งเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพจะถูกรวบรวมโดยอาศัยความร่วมมืออย่างแข็งขันกับชุมชนที่ถูกกีดกันหรือด้อยโอกาส โดยมีเป้าหมายที่ชัดเจนในการสร้างผลการศึกษาที่ท้าทายความไม่เท่าเทียม เพิ่มอำนาจให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วม และขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม กระบวนทัศน์เชิงปฏิรูปของ Donna Mertens และแนวทางการวิจัยแบบผสมผสานของ Creswell และ Plano Clark เป็นพื้นฐานร่วมกันของแนวทางนี้
