การตั้งเป้าหมายตามลำดับขั้น (Lexicographic Goal Programming - LGP) เป็นรูปแบบหนึ่งของการตั้งเป้าหมาย (goal programming) ที่พัฒนาโดย Charnes และ Cooper ในช่วงทศวรรษ 1960 โดยจัดลำดับความสำคัญของเป้าหมายหลายประการในลำดับชั้นเชิงอันดับที่เข้มงวด แก้ปัญหาการหาค่าเหมาะสมที่สุดตามลำดับ: บรรลุเป้าหมายที่มีลำดับความสำคัญสูงสุดก่อน จากนั้นจึงบรรลุเป้าหมายลำดับที่สองโดยยังคงรักษาเป้าหมายแรกไว้ และดำเนินต่อไปเช่นนี้ เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าเป้าหมายที่มีลำดับความสำคัญต่ำกว่าจะไม่ถูกแสวงหาโดยเสียเป้าหมายที่มีลำดับความสำคัญสูงกว่า
