แอมบิโซนิกส์
แอมบิโซนิกส์เป็นเทคนิคการเข้ารหัสและสร้างเสียงเชิงพื้นที่แบบเต็มทรงกลมที่จับและสร้างสนามเสียงสามมิติ พัฒนาโดย Michael Gerzon ในทศวรรษที่ 1970 โดยใช้ฟังก์ชันฮาร์มอนิกทรงกลมเพื่อแสดงเสียงในทุกทิศทางรอบจุดศูนย์กลาง แตกต่างจากระบบเซอร์ราวด์ที่ใช้ช่องสัญญาณแบบแยกส่วน แอมบิโซนิกส์ให้การแสดงเชิงพื้นที่ที่ไม่ขึ้นกับรูปแบบ ซึ่งสามารถหมุน แปล และเรนเดอร์ไปยังการกำหนดค่าลำโพงใดก็ได้
