Hali ya Afya (SOH) hupima upungufu wa betri kwa kupima ni kiasi gani cha uwezo na uwezo wa nguvu umepotea kutokana na kuzeeka. SOH huonyeshwa kwa asilimia (100% = mpya, 80% = mwisho wa maisha kwa matumizi mengi). Kufuatilia SOH huwezesha matengenezo ya kiutabiri, utambuzi wa mwisho wa maisha, na utabiri sahihi wa masafa/nguvu katika mifumo inayozeeka. SOH huakisi athari za jumla za mizunguko, kuzeeka kwa kalenda, na hali za uendeshaji.
