Misimbo ya LDPC, iliyovumbuliwa na Robert Gallager mnamo 1962 na kugunduliwa upya miaka ya 1990 na MacKay, ni misimbo ya mstari ya kusahihisha makosa inayofafanuliwa na matriki chache za ukaguzi wa usawa. Inafikia utendaji ndani ya 0.4 dB ya kikomo cha Shannon kwa usimbaji wa kueneza imani unaorudiwa na imekuwa kiwango cha mawasiliano ya kisasa yasiyo na waya (WiFi-6, 5G NR, Digital Video Broadcasting). Tofauti na misimbo ya turbo, misimbo ya LDPC ina muundo wa kifahari zaidi wa kigrafu na uchambuzi wa kinadharia uliokomaa zaidi.
