Uchanganuzi wa nguvu kulingana na uhuishaji hutathmini nguvu ya takwimu na ukubwa wa sampuli unaohitajika wa utafiti kwa kurudia mchakato kamili wa uchanganuzi mara elfu kwenye data zilizotengenezwa bandia. Kwa sababu unategemea uhuishaji wa Monte Carlo badala ya milinganyo iliyofungwa, unatumika kwa miundo — mifumo mchanganyiko, miundo changamano ya vipimo, matokeo yasiyo ya kawaida — ambapo fomula za nguvu za uchanganuzi hazipo. Mbinu hiyo ilielezewa kwa utaratibu kwa ajili ya utafiti unaotumika na Arnold et al. mwaka 2011, na utekelezaji wa mfumo mchanganyiko kupitia kifurushi cha SIMR uliimarishwa na Green na MacLeod mwaka 2016.
