Correlation Spectroscopy

Katika wigo wa kawaida wa protoni wa mwelekeo mmoja, madoa hutenganishwa na mabadiliko ya kemikali lakini muunganisho kati yao haionekani. COSY huunda ramani ya 2D ambapo mwelekeo mmoja unawakilisha masafa ya moja kwa moja ya 1H na mwingine unawakilisha masafa ya washirika waliounganishwa. Ikiwa protoni mbili zimeunganishwa na J (umbali wa vifungo vitatu hadi vinne), doa la msalaba huonekana kwenye makutano yao, likiunda ramani inayoonekana ya mifupa ya molekuli. Madoa ya diagonal huashiria mabadiliko ya kemikali ya kila protoni, wakati madoa ya msalaba nje ya diagonal huonyesha uhusiano wa kuunganishwa.
