Uhakiki wa Kutokuwa na Uhakika — Polynomial Chaos na Kriging Surrogate

Uhakiki wa Kutokuwa na Uhakika (UQ) ni mfumo wa kukokotoa kwa ajili ya kupima kwa utaratibu jinsi kutokuwa na uhakika katika pembejeo za modeli kunavyoeneza kutokuwa na uhakika katika matokeo yake. Kwa kutumia nadharia ya polynomial chaos ya Wiener (1938) na kuifanya rasmi kwa matatizo ya jumla ya stochastiki na Xiu na Karniadakis (2002), UQ hutumia mikakati mikuu miwili: Upanuzi wa Polynomial Chaos (PCE), ambao huwakilisha matokeo ya modeli kama mfululizo wa polynomials za orthogonal zinazolingana na usambazaji wa pembejeo, na Kriging (Gaussian process) surrogates, ambao hubadilisha uchanganuzi wa gharama kubwa na makadirio ya haraka ya takwimu yaliyofungwa kwa seti ndogo ya vipimo vilivyochaguliwa kwa uangalifu.
