Mfumo wa Q
Mfumo wa Q (Kielezo cha NGI), ulioanzishwa na Nick Barton na wenzake katika Taasisi ya Kijointechnical ya Norway mnamo 1974, ni njia mbadala ya uainishaji wa miamba kwa RMR. Unachanganya vigezo sita kuwa kielezo kisicho na vipimo Q kinachotoka 0.001 hadi 1000, ambapo maadili ya juu ya Q yanaonyesha ubora bora wa miamba. Mfumo wa Q unathaminiwa sana kwa ajili ya usanifu wa migodi na uchimbaji wa chini ya ardhi kwa sababu ya kuzingatia kwake wazi upenyezaji wa nyufa na athari za maji chini ya ardhi.
