Uimara wa Selulosi

Uimara wa selulosi unarejelea kiwango cha mpangilio wa kimuundo katika molekuli za selulosi: selulosi yenye uimara wa hali ya juu ina minyororo iliyopangwa vizuri, iliyobanana; selulosi isiyo na umbo (amorphous) ina minyororo isiyo na mpangilio. Hupimwa kwa kutumia mtawanyiko wa miale ya X, uimara wa selulosi huathiri nguvu, ugumu, na uwezo wa mmeng'enyo wa mbao katika michakato ya kutengeneza mbao (pulping) na michakato ya enzimatiki. Uimara wa juu unahusiana na nguvu kubwa na mwitikio mdogo wa kemikali.
