SammanfattningHeterogeneous Treatment Effect Interrupted Time Series extends the standard ITS design to detect whether an intervention's effect on a time series differs systematically across subgroups or in response to unit-level moderators. Where ordinary ITS yields a single level-change and slope-change estimate, HTE-ITS adds interaction terms for a moderating variable, revealing who benefits more or less from the intervention and by how much.Difference-in-Differences is a causal-inference method that estimates the effect of an intervention by comparing how a treatment group and a control group change over time. Made famous by Card and Krueger's 1994 minimum-wage study and developed in Angrist and Pischke's Mostly Harmless Econometrics, it isolates the treatment effect as the difference between the two groups' before-after changes.
