Drifter Lagrangian Analysis

Analiza kretanja pomoću Lagrangianovih bova prati kretanje vodenih paketa koristeći površinske bove (plutajuće uređaje sa pričvršćenim kočnicama) za direktno merenje okeanskih struja. Razvijena od strane Roberta Dejvisa 1980-ih, ova metoda pruža direktno posmatranje putanja vodenih paketa i omogućava procenu difuzivnosti vrtloga, transportnih puteva i mešanja. Podaci sa bova dopunjuju Eulerianova (fiksna tačka) posmatranja hvatajući Lagrangianovu perspektivu strujanja fluida.
