Bondov indeks rada

Bondov indeks rada, koji je uveo Fred C. Bond 1952. godine, empirijski je parametar koji karakteriše otpornost rude na mlevenje u obrtnom mlinu. Definiše se kao kilovat-sati po kratkoj toni (kWh/st) električne energije potrebne za redukciju grube rude od teoretski beskonačne veličine do 80% prolaza kroz sito od 100 mikrometara. Bondov indeks je fundamentalan u projektovanju postrojenja za preradu minerala i proceni troškova širom sveta.
