Nanoindenter

Nanoindenter, ili instrumentisano udubljivanje, je tehnika za merenje tvrdoće i modula elastičnosti materijala pritiskom oštrog vrha na površinu uzorka i kontinuiranim snimanjem opterećenja i dubine prodiranja. Razvijen od strane Olivera i Fara 1992. godine, nanoindenter omogućava merenje mehaničkih svojstava tankih slojeva, malih zapremina i struktura na nanoskalama sa prostornom rezolucijom koja se približava mikrometrima. To je standardni alat u nauci o materijalima za karakterizaciju prevlaka, interfejsa i mehaničkih svojstava na submikronskoj skali.
