Slaba nadgledana klasifikacija slika obučava konvolucione mreže ili mreže zasnovane na transformerima koristeći samo grube, nepotpune ili bučne podatke za nadzor — kao što su oznake kategorija na nivou slike, heštegovi ili oznake prikupljene sa veba — bez potrebe za preciznim okvirima ili anotacijama piksela. Ovo drastično smanjuje troškove anotiranja, a istovremeno omogućava vizuelno prepoznavanje visoke tačnosti u velikom obimu.
