zk-STARK

zk-STARK (Zero-Knowledge Scalable Transparent Argument of Knowledge) je kriptografski sistem dokazivanja koji omogućava dokazivaču da uveri proveravača u ispravnost računanja bez potrebe za poverljivim podešavanjem (trusted setup) ili otkrivanja detalja računanja. Uvedeni od strane Ben-Sasona i saradnika 2018. godine, zk-STARKovi rešavaju ključno ograničenje zk-SNARKova: ne zahtevaju fazu predobrade koja je podložna oštećenju. Umesto toga, STARKovi se oslanjaju samo na kriptografske heš funkcije, što ih čini jednostavnijim, transparentnijim i veruje se da su post-kvantno sigurni.
