Simulacija dnevne svetlosti je računarska metoda za predviđanje dostupnosti i distribucije dnevne svetlosti u enterijeru i za procenu vizuelnog komfora pod promenljivim uslovima neba. Razvijena od strane istraživača kao što su Christoph Reinhart i John Mardaljevic 2000-ih, postala je ključna u projektovanju zdravih, energetski efikasnih zgrada koje maksimiziraju prirodno svetlo uz kontrolu odsjaja.
