Putanja Dubins

Putanja Dubins je najkraća kriva koja povezuje dve tačke u ravni sa zadatim početnim i krajnjim smernim pravcima, uz ograničenje na krivinu. Uvedena od strane Lestera Dubinsa 1957. godine, rešila je fundamentalni problem diferencijalne geometrije i postala neophodna u planiranju kretanja za avione, helikoptere i autonomna vozila. Putanja Dubins se sastoji od kružnih lukova i pravolinijskih segmenata raspoređenih u nizu kao što su RSR (Desno-Pravo-Desno) ili LSL (Levo-Pravo-Levo).
