Razumljivost govora

Razumljivost govora je kvantitativna mera koliko dobro slušaoci razumeju izgovoreni sadržaj u akustičnim okruženjima. Formalizovana od strane Steeneken-a i Houtgast-a 1980. godine sa indeksom prenosa govora (Speech Transmission Index – STI), metrike razumljivosti kombinuju akustične parametre prostorije (RT60, buka, jasnoća) za predviđanje razumevanja kod slušalaca. Razumevanje razumljivosti govora je ključno za projektovanje učionica, kancelarija, slušnih aparata i sistema javnog ozvučenja gde je jasna komunikacija kritična.
