BEM Akustika
Metoda graničnih elemenata (BEM) je numerička tehnika za rešavanje akustičkih talasnih jednačina u kompleksnim geometrijama. Za razliku od metoda konačnih elemenata (FEM) koje diskretizuju čitave zapremine, BEM diskretizuje samo akustičke granice (površine), smanjujući računsku cenu i memoriju. Prvi put primenjena u akustici od strane Burtona i Milera 1971. godine, BEM se široko koristi za predviđanje sobne akustike, spoljašnjeg zračenja buke i akustičkog rasejanja bez potrebe za zapreminskom diskretizacijom.
