Analiza statike e kodit ekzaminon automatikisht kodin burimor pa ekzekutim, duke zbuluar gabime potenciale, dobësi sigurie, aroma kodi dhe shkelje stili. E pionieruar nga Engler dhe Pugh (2001), mjetet e analizës automatizuara skanojnë bazat e kodeve në shkallë, duke identifikuar modele defektesh më shpejt se rishikimi manual.
