Teoria e Procesit të Normalizimit (NPT)

Teoria e Procesit të Normalizimit (NPT) është një kornizë sociologjike e zhvilluar nga Carl May dhe kolegët e tij për të shpjeguar se si ndërhyrjet e reja bëhen rutinë ('normalizohen') në praktikën organizative dhe klinike. Në ndryshim nga kornizat e fokusuar te efikasiteti që matin adoptimin dhe besnikërinë, NPT shpjegon proceset sociale nëpërmjet të cilave ndërhyrjet kalojnë nga risi të jashtme në praktikë normale. NPT identifikon katër mekanizma kryesorë (Koherenca, Pjesëmarrja Kognitive, Veprimi Kolektiv, Monitorimi Reflektiv) të cilët së bashku përcaktojnë nëse një ndërhyrje bëhet 'mënyra se si i bëjmë gjërat këtu' apo mbetet një projekt i përkohshëm.
