Statistikat F (FST)
Statistikat F janë një familje masash të zhvilluara nga Sewall Wright për të kuantifikuar strukturën gjenetike të popullatave dhe shkallën e diferencimit gjenetik midis popullatave. FST, statistika F më e përdorur gjerësisht, mat proporcionin e variacionit gjenetik total që i atribuohet dallimeve midis popullatave kundrejt brenda popullatave. FST varion nga zero (pa diferencim) në një (diferencim të plotë). Këto statistika janë bërë mjete themelore për të kuptuar strukturën e popullatave, për të zbuluar përzierjen e popullatave dhe për të analizuar forcat evolucionare që formojnë variacionin gjenetik.
