Detektimi i objektit i shpjegueshëm kombinon një detektor objekti të thellë-mësimor — si YOLO, Faster R-CNN, ose DETR — me metoda post-hoc ose të integruara të shpjegueshmërisë (Grad-CAM, LIME, SHAP, D-RISE) që vizualizojnë pse modeli vendosi një kuti kufizuese në një vendndodhje të caktuar dhe caktoi një etiketë klase të caktuar, duke i bërë vendimet e tij të auditueshme nga njerëzit.
