Algoritmi Metropolis-Hastings
Algoritmi Metropolis-Hastings (MH) është një metodë me qëllim të përgjithshëm Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) për nxjerrjen e mostrave nga çdo shpërndarje probabiliteti, dendësia e së cilës mund të vlerësohet deri në një konstante normalizuese. I prezantuar nga Metropolis, Rosenbluth, Rosenbluth, Teller dhe Teller (1953) në fizikën kompjuterike dhe i përgjithësuar nga Hastings (1970) për shpërndarjet asimetrike të propozimit, ai është algoritmi themelor nga i cili rrjedhin ose mund të shihen si raste të veçanta pothuajse të gjithë kampionuesit pasues MCMC — kampionimi Gibbs, Monte Carlo Hamiltonian, kampionimi slice.
