Embedded Transformative Mixed Methods — Research Design
Embedded transformative mixed methods este un design de cercetare care anexează un tip de date (cantitative sau calitative) în interiorul unui set dominant de date de celălalt tip, ambele fire directoare fiind ghidate de un cadru transformativ general — precum teoria feministă, a drepturilor persoanelor cu dizabilități sau a justiției sociale. Designul servește întrebări de cercetare unde lățimea statistică și profunzimea înțelegerii calitative trebuie să răspundă direct obiectivelor de echitate, emancipare sau schimbare sistemică.
