RezumatComparative hermeneutic analysis is a qualitative method that applies hermeneutic interpretation across two or more texts, traditions, or discourses to reveal shared meanings, tensions, and divergences. Drawing on Gadamer's concept of the hermeneutic circle and Ricoeur's theory of text and meaning, it moves iteratively between the parts and the whole of each text while simultaneously holding multiple texts in dialogue, surfacing how different historical, cultural, or disciplinary contexts shape interpretation.Phenomenology is a qualitative research approach that investigates how participants live through and make sense of a specific experience. Rooted in the philosophy of Edmund Husserl and extended by Martin Heidegger, it aims to reveal the essential structures of lived experience rather than to measure or predict outcomes. The two most widely applied variants are Husserl's transcendental phenomenology, which seeks universal essences, and Heidegger's hermeneutic phenomenology, which emphasises interpretation within context.
