| Resumo≠ | The ALS is a 54-item self-report measure of affective lability—rapid, unpredictable shifts in mood and anxiety states. Developed by Harvey, Greenberg, and Serper in 1989, it distinguishes normal emotional responsiveness from pathological mood instability. Affective lability is recognized as feature of bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, certain anxiety disorders, and represents dimensional measure of emotion dysregulation. | The DERS is a 36-item self-report measure assessing multidimensional emotion dysregulation across six related but distinct facets.
