ResumoActive learning combined with self-supervised learning leverages unlabeled data through self-supervised pre-training to build rich representations, then uses an active query strategy to select the most informative examples for human annotation, maximizing model performance under a tight labeling budget. This hybrid approach is especially powerful when labeled data is scarce but large unlabeled pools exist.Online learning is a machine learning paradigm in which a model is updated incrementally as each new data point arrives, rather than being trained once on a fixed dataset. It is essential when data streams continuously, storage is limited, or the underlying distribution shifts over time. Theoretical performance is measured by cumulative regret relative to the best fixed predictor in hindsight.
