Panel Geographically Weighted Regression (Panel GWR) utvider det standard GWR-rammeverket til paneldata, og tillater at regresjonskoeffisienter varierer både geografisk og over tid. Metoden fanger opp romlig ikke-stasjonære sammenhenger i longitudinelle eller gjentatte romlige datasett, ved å kombinere lokal romlig estimering med paneldata-kontroller for enhetsspesifikk heterogenitet.
