Andreordens pålitelighetsmetode (SORM)

Andreordens pålitelighetsmetode (SORM) er en utvidelse av FORM som forbedrer estimater av feilsannsynlighet ved å ta hensyn til krumningen av grensetilstandsoverflaten ved designpunktet. SORM, introdusert av Fiessler, Neumann og Rackwitz i 1979, gir mer nøyaktige tilnærminger for ikke-lineære feilflater, samtidig som den forblir beregningsmessig effektiv. Den har blitt standardforbedringen når FORM-nøyaktighet er utilstrekkelig.
