By grouping observation sessions into blocks — such as days, weeks, or settings — and ensuring phase transitions align to block boundaries, the design isolates the effect of an intervention on an individual participant's repeated behavior measures more rigorously than an unblocked ABA.	The multiple baseline design is a single-subject experimental design that demonstrates functional control by introducing an intervention at staggered time points across two or more baselines — typically across different behaviors, individuals, or settings.
