Ekvivalent statisk analyse

Ekvivalent statisk analyse er den enkleste metoden for seismisk dimensjonering, der jordskjelveffekter representeres som en enkelt statisk horisontal kraft anvendt i massesenteret eller fordelt over bygningens høyde. Standardisert av SEAOC i 1959 og innlemmet i moderne byggeforskrifter, er det den mest brukte metoden for dimensjonering av regulære bygninger.
