Etter-i-bruk-evaluering (POE) er en systematisk metode for å vurdere hvor godt en ferdigstilt bygning oppfyller brukernes behov og forventninger, og sammenligne planlagt ytelse med faktisk ytelse. Formalisert av Wolfgang Preiser på 1980-tallet, har POE blitt essensielt for å lære hvilke designstrategier som fungerer, identifisere problemer for utbedring, og forbedre fremtidige prosjekter.
