Evaluatiegerichte multilevel mixed methods is een onderzoeksdesign dat kwantitatieve en kwalitatieve data combineert over hiërarchisch geneste niveaus van een organisatie of systeem — zoals leerlingen binnen klassen binnen scholen — om een programma, beleid of interventie te evalueren. Door uitkomsten, processen en contextuele factoren gelijktijdig op elk niveau vast te leggen, produceert dit design rijkere evaluatieve inferenties dan puur statistische multilevel modellen of enkelvoudige kwalitatieve evaluaties alleen.
