NSGA-II — Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II
NSGA-II (Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II) is het standaard referentie-algoritme voor multi-objectieve evolutionaire optimalisatie, geïntroduceerd door Deb, Pratap, Agarwal en Meyarivan in 2002. In plaats van meerdere conflicterende doelstellingen samen te voegen tot één enkele score, evolueert het een populatie van kandidaatoplossingen over generaties en retourneert het een set Pareto-optimale afwegingsoplossingen — de Pareto-front — met behulp van snelle niet-gedomineerde sortering en een crowding distance-metriek om diversiteit te behouden.
