Instantiesegmentatie
Instantiesegmentatie is een computervisie-taak die tegelijkertijd elk afzonderlijk object in een afbeelding detecteert en een nauwkeurig masker op pixelniveau voor elke individuele objectinstantie produceert. In tegenstelling tot semantische segmentatie, die elke pixel een klasse toewijst, onderscheidt instantiesegmentatie tussen afzonderlijke objecten van dezelfde klasse, wat een fijnmazig ruimtelijk begrip mogelijk maakt.
