Pengerahan Fungsi Kualiti Berbantukan Pengoptimuman

QFD berbantukan pengoptimuman memperluas kerangka House of Quality klasik dengan menyematkan pengoptimuman matematik — pengaturcaraan linear, pengoptimuman berbilang objektif, atau metaheuristik — secara langsung ke dalam proses QFD. Ini membolehkan jurutera memaksimumkan kepuasan pelanggan dan meminimumkan kos atau kekangan sumber secara serentak apabila menetapkan nilai sasaran untuk ciri-ciri kejuruteraan, melangkaui penarafan keutamaan yang sebahagian besarnya subjektif dalam QFD tradisional.
