Updated in 2015 with a streamlined 16-item version, the TRI helps identify technology adopter segments and predict behavior across diverse technology contexts. | The Online Trust Scale measures consumer confidence and belief in online platforms (e-commerce websites, digital services, social platforms). Developed by researchers including Jarvenpaa, Tractinsky, and Vitale (2000) and Walker and Johnson (2006), this scale captures dimensions of perceived security, vendor reliability, privacy protection, and transaction confidence.
