KopsavilkumsAcroQoL is a disease-specific 22-item quality of life questionnaire developed to assess the multidimensional burden of acromegaly, a chronic growth hormone-secreting pituitary tumor disorder. Developed by Buchfelder and colleagues in 2006, it captures physical complications (joint/bone pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, metabolic disease), appearance-related concerns (facial changes, hand/foot enlargement), and psychological/social impacts (mood, social limitation, body image). It is the primary outcome measure for assessing quality of life in acromegaly treatment trials and clinical practice. The AGHDA is a 25-item disease-specific quality of life questionnaire designed to assess the burden of adult growth hormone (GH) deficiency. Developed by Hunt, Werther, and colleagues in 2000, it evaluates symptoms and functional impairments directly related to GH deficiency, including fatigue, reduced muscle strength, weight gain, and psychological difficulties. The instrument is widely used in endocrinology practice and clinical trials to quantify the impact of GH replacement therapy.
