評価に焦点を当てた同時埋め込み型混合研究法とは、プログラム評価の文脈において、一方のストランドが他方の支配的なストランドの内側に埋め込まれ、支援的な役割を果たすという形で、定量的データと定性的データの両方が同時に収集される研究デザインである。このデザインは、タイムラインを延長することなく、同じ評価サイクルから、埋め込まれたプロセスまたは文脈の証拠と並行して成果の証拠を生み出す。
