林分密度指数
Stand Density Index（SDI）は、Reinekeにより1933年に導入された、樹木数とサイズの両方を考慮した無次元の森林密度指標である。これは、ヘクタールあたりの本数で表され、基準となる平均直径（QMD）25 cmに調整されることで、異なる森林タイプやサイズの樹木密度を標準化して比較するための指標を提供する。SDIは、森林管理において、蓄積レベルを評価し、間伐の決定を導くために広く用いられている。
