考古層序 — 層序発掘とシーケンス分析
考古層序とは、遺跡における土層、堆積物、遺構を体系的に発掘・記録し、人類活動の相対的な年代順を確立するための手法である。地質学的な重重の法則、すなわち下の層ほど上の層より古いという原則に基づき、ハリス・マトリックスを正式なツールとして用い、堆積関係を図示し、遺跡の歴史を層ごとに再構築する。
